‘Electrician’

British Indie Feature Film

“…An impressive debut…”FilmInk, 2021

Lonely electrician Mark wants to reconnect with his lost family unit, but he knows to achieve this it means reopening doors to his past that he has tried hard to get away from. The key to achieving his goal could also be his undoing and he must decide fast if he is willing to take that risk.

‘Electrician’ is the debut feature film by English filmmaker Steve Conway. Made over a period of five years (2015-2020), without any budget and using mostly non-actors (Read more here), the film went on to win seven international awards and was nominated for a further twenty. It received its debut broadcast on London Live in November 2021 and has been shown on several occasions on UK television since. ‘Electrician’ continues to gain a global audience and is available to watch now on YouTube – where it has exceeded over 100k views in less than one year – Tubi and Apple Tv.

Sadly, in March 2026, I discovered that my film on Prime Video was re-listed under a new link without my request, which has resulted in all of the reviews built up over several years being completely wiped. This is a serious concern for any filmmaker or rights holder, as it means years of audience feedback and credibility can disappear overnight with no warning. If you have content on the platform, it’s worth keeping records of your listing and reviews, as there seems to be a real risk of losing them if your title is ever reprocessed or republished.
